I painted this using fresh clementines and some silk flowers on a shelf. I started painting still life in this style after seeing David Leffel paint. He was such a joy to watch and an inspiration to me.
Clementines are a favorite for many artists to paint and I am no exception. They are a great subject for a still life as the color is so rich. A great print or painting for a collection and especially the kitchen dining area.
