This watercolor painting is painted with artist quality watercolors on a 9 x 12 in. Aquabord that is 1/8" thick. A UV protector varnish has been applied so this painting can be framed without glass but should not be put in direct sunlight.
This was the first time I experienced painting on this surface and was quite impressed with how easy it was to make changes in some areas.I had had the reference photo for quite awhile from PMP Art site. I will have to look up the photographers name for you and add it later. I loved the endearing pose of this little guy and am happy with how he turned out. He will certainly make any room bright and cheery.
